Troubleshooting the common bumps
A few practical fixes for the issues users are most likely to run into while curating and using their menu.

Saved item does not show or cannot be opened
If a saved item was moved, renamed, or removed outside FolderyMenu, the app may need to refresh or you may need to re-add it.
- Reopen the menu after a change.
- Confirm the file or folder still exists in Finder.
- Re-add it if the original location changed.
The menu feels slow
Keep your menu focused on active work. Very large folders, very broad searches, or overusing features that expose huge file lists can make scanning slower.
Usually faster: a curated project folder, a few pinned items, and selective consolidation only where it saves time.
Search results feel too broad
Try searching by folder name only if you mainly want to jump to folders. Include file listings only when you need to search inside them.
Dragging files out is not working
Try dragging to Finder first. If that works, the file is fine and the destination app or webpage may simply not support file drops. Many do, but not all.
